Our school and community wellbeing focus for Week 4 is an "Attitude of Gratitude". This gives us an opportunity to reflect on what we are grateful or thankful for?

Some of the possible activities that our classes can participate in during our Attitude of Gratitude week, are:

  • grateful journal
  • grateful tree, poster or wall
  • grateful circle at the end of each day
  • grateful jar to fill with notes
  • grateful paper chain
  • grateful surprise notes for friends and family

"Gratitude is the practice of noticing and appreciating the positives in the world (particularly in your own personal world). Shifting the focus from what you don't have to what you do have can have a profound influence on your moment-to-moment mood and emotional state, and it can have a huge impact on your physical health, as well." Action for Happiness
