Celebrating Our Successful Jinibara Learners

Celebrating Our Successful Jinibara Learners

This week students from Prep to Year 6 have created some fantastic posters that highlight some of the amazing learning goals that our students have achieved so far this year.

These goals have been achieved due to the effort, persistence and hard work of our students every day in their classrooms with the support of their teachers.
Our teachers use evidence from data and student work samples to identify what learning needs to occur next, for each student to work towards being successful in meeting the achievement standards for their year level. Teachers then work with students to establish learning goals. Teachers and students engage in purposeful and focused teaching and learning so that students can work towards achieving these goals.

When students achieve their learning goals we celebrate this success. Celebrating this success is very important as this is helping our students to see themselves as successful learners. Our students are learning that when they put in lots of effort and work hard they achieve success.

As you stop to read the posters you will see the many things that students are enjoying learning. You will also notice that there are already many things that our students have learnt to do and can now understand that they were unable to at the beginning of the year. These posters have been displayed on the fence at the front of the school so we can share and celebrate this learning success with our community.
